Melanie Curtin
Interim Superintendent of Schools
Interim Superintendent Melanie Curtin, a proud Weymouth High School alumna and WHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, has dedicated over 22 years of service to Weymouth Public Schools. Before being named Interim Superintendent in Spring 2024, Ms. Curtin served three years as the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Supports and Services. She has also served as the district’s Assistant Director of Instructional Services and Supports and EL Coordinator and served as a teacher, coach, Dean, and Associate Principal at Weymouth High School earlier in her career.
Ms. Curtin holds a master's degree in school administration from Bridgewater State University, a master's degree in education from Fitchburg State, and a bachelor's degree from Jacksonville University.
