He went on to acquire the Lean Six Sigma training and certification in Quality and Process Re-engineering from the University of Georgia. He is professionally trained in the US for several courses/certifications that include the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Expert Penetration Tester (CEPT), Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) and Certified ethical Hacker (CeH). Au Togo, les faibles taux de couverture vaccinale dans certaines régions ont incité des organisations de la société civile à mettre en œuvre une approche innovante appelée « Papa Champion ». Cette initiative, soutenue par Gavi, vise à renforcer la participation des hommes dans les activités de vaccination, en luttant contre les stéréotypes de genre, en les sensibilisant à l'importance de la vaccination pour la santé de leurs enfants et des femmes enceintes. Depuis sa mise en œuvre en 2019, l'approche Papas Champions a donné des résultats probants avec une augmentation de la couverture vaccinale dans les zones d'intervention : près de 13 000 enfants ont été retrouvés et référés entre 2019 et 2022, dont 10 500 ont été vaccinés. is a Consultant Public Health Physician and Health Administrator with over 20 years of experience in community health practice in Nigeria. Currently serving as the Executive Secretary, Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (EDSPHCDA). Dr. Izedonmwen obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2000 and a Masters of Health Planning and Management (MHPM) in 2007 from the University of Benin, Edo State. He also achieved the Fellowship of the Medical College in Public Health (FMCPH) in 2008. During his tenure at the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) in Abuja from 2010 to 2014, he served as a Public Health Specialist and Country Head for Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). He worked closely with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) team from Atlanta, GA (USA) to develop the M&E Framework and a 5-year Strategic Plan. Additionally, he successfully developed and implemented the NBTS Electronic Donor Record System (EDRS) to enhance the tracking of blood donations and donor information. As the Public Health Lead at the Abuja Centre, Nigeria, from 2015 to 2021, Dr. Izedonmwen demonstrated exemplary leadership, resulting in a remarkable 130% increase in blood collection from voluntary donors. His outstanding performance earned him more than four commendation letters from the National Coordinator, recognizing his efforts in exceeding set targets. He was also responsible for supervising the center's budget and monitoring daily execution of contracts. In October 2022, he was appointed as the Executive Secretary, Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki. In this role, he oversees the overall planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of primary healthcare activities across the 18 LGAs in the state. Dr. Izedonmwen's dynamic approach and visionary mindset have been instrumental in spearheading transformative initiatives for primary health care. His strategic plan encompasses bolstering healthcare infrastructure, empowering the workforce with the right human resources, ensuring access to essential drugs, fostering effective leadership and governance, actively involving communities in decision-making processes and ensuring the use of technology to drive the primary health care system. Under his leadership, Edo State earned recognition as the first runner-up in the prestigious Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge 2023, securing over 185 million naira. He also introduced the PHC Client Home-Based Care Scheme which focuses on going back to the days of the community based service where the Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) identifies risk groups within the community such as pregnant women and children, the elderly, teenager, family unit etc and provide them with basic health services not only in the health centers but also in their homes. Do checkups as well as give health talks on public health issues, family planning, maternal and child health, hypertension, lassa fever, diabetes etc. Without a doubt, he serves as an inspiration for excellence and positive change in the healthcare landscape. Promoting Partnerships and Interventions for Global Health and Sustainable Development Projects (Nigeria)

Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje was GAVI routine immunization (RI) consultant for Imo State for the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) during 2012–2014, and provided monthly RI supportive supervision and capacity building in 250 community-based PHCs; trained and provided supportive supervision to Nurses, Midwives, Village Health Workers, Community Health Extension Workers, Community Health Workers and community leaders in the State’s 27 LGAs; thereby supporting and reaching 4,860 health workers. He was the consultant of NACA/World Bank that developed Imo State Multi-sectoral HIV & AIDS Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Plan in 2012; and served as the sole consultant for the ‘Development of GFATM Comprehensive Manual of Procedures’ for Nigeria, 2012. In 2014, Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje undertook data quality self-assessment (DQS) of RI in Njaba and Owerri West LGAs of Imo State as a consultant of the NPHCDA. Dr. Adirieje was the National Team Supervisor and Data Team Leader (data collector, data analyst and data quality assessment) of the Global Fund/NMEP/ISA’s Malaria Matchbox Nigeria Project 2020-2021 in conflict-ridden Northeastern Nigeria. Previously, Maria acted as Medical Coordinator with Médecins sans Frontières within refugee camps in Salvador and Honduras during the armed conflict. She is the Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer at EHA Clinics. Her journey at EHA Clinics began in October 2019 as Practice and Quality Assurance Manager at the Abuja Clinic. In that role, she was responsible for the supervision of all clinical teams, performance management, recruitment and manpower planning, financial stewardship, customer satisfaction, and all processes for quality assurance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was responsible for setting up and managing the COVID-19 isolation center from July 2020 to when it was shut down in December 2021. She was also part of the quality team that set up and implemented all the processes that resulted in the successful JCI accreditation of EHA Clinics Kano. In 2022, she was promoted to the role of Vice President-Medical Services, Quality, and Patient Safety where she was responsible for all activities that ensured the delivery of safe patient care. Dr. Ilodibe graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School with two bachelor’s degrees; one in Medical Sciences and then a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She returned to Nigeria where she worked in clinical practice for 4 years before joining Bridge Clinic Fertility Center in 2014. She rose to the position of Clinic Administrator during her five and a half years at Bridge Clinic. "Shweta Narayan coordinates the International Climate and Health Campaign for Health Care Without Harm (HCWH), an international network of health leaders and institutions across 84 countries dedicated to making health care accessible, safe and environmentally sustainable. She leads HCWH’s health professional mobilization campaign which aims to initiate a global conversation with leading health professional networks, academic institutions, think tanks and public health thinkers on the need to amplify advocacy on climate change and health. She is based in India and has over two decades of experience advocacy and community organizing experience on environmental justice issues. Her work focuses on providing legal, media and scientific research support to the residents of polluted communities and workers exposed to toxic chemicals. She also has worked with state and local governments in India to coordinate the input of health professional in developing climate and environmental health policies. She has an undergraduate degree in business and a master’s degree in social work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai."

He moved to Liberia during the Ebola outbreak in 2015, and used his background as a food anthropologist and social entrepreneur to build a Liberian-owned and operated business that produces nutritious low-cost delicious food, and has since scaled this model to 20 countries with partners like UNICEF, Impossible Foods, the World Food Programme, Unilever, and the World Bank. When not working, you can find Taylor out for a run training for an ultramarathon or cooking with fresh ingredients from local markets.

Dr. Zara Isa Modibbo

Dr. Modibbo is a Co-founder & Managing Partner at DébboAfrica, a laboratory medicine specialist, a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a Clinical Microbiologist who has contributed to African healthcare and medical research for over 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Maiduguri, Borno medical school, in Nigeria and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine UK. She has also received training in Global Health and Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health Boston, MA. In her last role at 54gene, she served as the Vice President of laboratory operations, overseeing the setup of its laboratories including COVID-19 testing centers in several locations across Nigeria. She is a visiting researcher at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano state where she sets up and coordinates global studies in areas of antibiotic resistance and other areas of infectious diseases. In the last few years, Dr Modibbo has partnered with global researchers at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in collaboration with Cardiff University and the INEOS Oxford Institute at Oxford University to successfully set up and conduct international studies focused on infectious disease research with particular emphasis on the spread of antibiotic resistance across Africa. Dr. Modibbo is passionate about women’s health and has published several papers on cervical cancer screening in Nigeria including the first Randomized Control Trial in Nigeria on Human Papilloma Virus self-sampling to revolutionize uptake of screening across Africa. Presently at DébboAfrica, they are building a world where every African woman has access to safe and reliable healthcare through their diagnostic services, programs, and tech-enabled products. She loves to be educated through travel, by visiting cities of ancient history and spends most of her personal time with her family and mentoring girls in STEM on career choices.
