I'm an astrosociologist based out of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Astrosociology is a complex and beautiful mashup of space exploration and the consequences of human behaviour. As founder and executive director of International Space City my role is pretty much anything and everything it takes to get the message out that space is for everyone. I talk about space poverty, future jobs and the culture of peace.

Jen Ang

Founding Director of JustRight Scotland

Jen Ang is a Founding Director of JustRight Scotland, a human rights charity which use the law to defend and extend people’s rights. She is responsible for strategy and development as well as oversight of our policy, research, communications and training. She also leads the social enterprise, JRS Knowhow. Jen is an experienced human rights lawyer qualified to practice in Scotland, England and Wales, and New York State. She is a legal expert on asylum, human rights and children’s rights, and on the rights of survivors of torture. She is also a lecturer in law with the Open University, and believes in making legal education open and accessible to all.

Adam Smith

Documentary Filmmaker

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Adam Smith graduated from Napier University with a BA (Hons) Degree in Television in 2019. It was there he completed a 20 minute short documentary about the women behind Apollo 11 and STEM. Since graduating, the film has gained success with local newspapers, science festivals and radio stations. Smith has worked as a production runner for the BBC, ITV and indie production companies on a freelance basis since 2016. Since directing and co-producing 'Space Queens', he has devoted his career to documentary filmmaking, particularly around feminist film and short form content with BBC 'The Social'.
