Fiorella Rojas Jaramillo
National Director, People & Culture - YWCA Canada
Fiorella Rojas‑Jaramillo is the National Director, People & Culture at YWCA Canada. With a career rooted in equity, inclusion, and people‑centered design, she has served as the inaugural head of HR in the tech sector, building foundational human resources practices from the ground up. Prior to joining YWCA Canada, she was the Manager of People & Culture at a global digital agency.
Fiorella is passionate about creating workplace cultures where employees feel safe, supported, and set up for success. She focuses on developing policies that are equitable, accessible, and grounded in equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) principles, and she is always exploring new and better ways of doing things. Her work centers on designing systems that attract and retain talent, strengthen engagement, and support the diverse needs of the people they serve.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in peace and conflict studies. Outside of work, Fiorella can be found walking by the lake, racing to make it to yoga, or reading a good book with a cup of tea in hand.
