Professor Prabhat Pankaj is an esteemed educator and thought leader in Higher Education, Learning and Happiness practice. He is currently serving as the Director-Academics of the Jaipuria group of B-schools located in Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, and Indore and heading the Centre of Learning and Teaching Advancement (CLTA). Prior to this assignment, Professor Prabhat served as Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur for about 13 years. He has steered the growth story of Jaipuria for over a decade with his most recent achievement being one-single AACSB international accreditation for four B-schools of Jaipuria.
With a career spanning three decades, including 6-years of strong academic associations with Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness movement, Professor Prabhat has significantly contributed to the academic and professional world through his extensive work in student-learning, pedagogy, outcome-based education, and happiness, among other areas.
His expertise extends beyond teaching to include executive education in Leadership in Higher Education from Harvard University, Boston and Neuro-based Learning. Prof. Prabhat's dedication to improving and promoting ‘happiness’, ‘mind management’, and ‘Neuro-based learning’ has been exemplified by the Case Study written by the Indian Institute of Management–Ahmedabad on ‘Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur’, where Professor Prabhat has been the main protagonist for bringing about innovations in teaching-learning and student success story.
Prof. Prabhat has published 6 books, 30+ research papers, and he writes articles in Times of India and Economic Times, a leading national daily in India. His recent book in 2025 is titled “Actions for Happiness in Academics (AHA!)”, published by Bloomsbury India, and released at Global Happiness Forum-Jaipur. Professor Prabhat often appears on television debates, budget analysis, career counseling programs, and several prominent blogpost channels.
Professor Prabhat has created a ‘Happiness Laboratory’ and he has been teaching a credit course to B-school students on “Science of Wellbeing and Happiness”, where he conducts pre and post analysis, thereby helping students in fighting stress, anxiety, attention-deficit, hopelessness, and bad relationships. Students have reported amazing transformative journeys through life-changing story sharing. Professor Prabhat delivered keynote address on happiness in AACSB’s Asia Pacific Conference in Bangkok and institutions across the globe.
