Cori has over 20 years of experience in the talent acquisition space gained through time in leadership roles, working for a contingency search firm, and the last 11 years as part of ATB Financial’s People & Culture team. Cori holds the RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter) designation, and has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree, as well as a Continuing Education certificate in Human Resources. She recently completed the Indigenous Canada course. Cori represented Canada at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, winning a silver medal in women’s curling. She is a proud mom of two, and remains active in curling as a coach, competitor and motivational speaker.

Prior to attending NorQuest, Hayden has had an unconventional educational journey and has taken training as a Unit Clerk through Bow Valley College in 2019, and has also received training as a Firefighter, and Medical First Responder. Hayden's work experience spans through a multitude of clinical settings such as Continuing Care, Acute Care, Outpatients, Radiation Oncology within the Cancer Care Alberta portfolio, and has contributed greatly during launch 7 of the electronic health record system called Connect Care. Hayden's passion as a professional includes professional development, mentorship of students and his peers, mental health and wellness in the workplace, and the promotion of rural healthcare professional recruitment and retention. Outside of work, Hayden loves to spend time in the outdoors, being creative with photography, and spending time with his fiancé, two dogs and cat.

Sandeep Singh is a STEM Student Advisor in NorQuest College. An Alumni of NorQuest's Environment Technician Program, Sandeep has a passion of helping those who are facing hard time and situations in their life. Sandeep loves problem solving, finding resources and learning new things. Before moving to Canada Sandeep finished his B.Sc. Agriculture. Sandeep moved to Canada in 2019 and after finishing his Diploma from Norquest, he worked with UofA as wildlife technician. After UofA Sandeep joined NorQuest as a casual Instructor and is now working as a Program Student Advisor. Sandeep strives to work with vulnerable population and help those who can't voice their concerns.

Lucienne Soriano

Lucienne Soriano is an Instructor at NorQuest College's Olson Centre for Health Simulation. As alumni of NorQuest’s Therapeutic Recreation (TR) program, Lucienne has a passion for supporting learners in hands on experiences to prepare them for real world practice. After completing her diploma, Lucienne pursued a Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Lethbridge before returning to NorQuest as an Instructional Assistant in the TR program. Prior to her journey working in education, she had the opportunity to experience working in a variety of healthcare settings including long-term care, adult day programs, and community outpatient. Lucienne strives to continue to innovate and carve new paths to support people in caring for others.

Janill Burton

Licensed Practical Nurse, Alberta Health Services

Janill immigrated to Canada in 2018 and graduated from the Practical Nurse Diploma Program at NorQuest College 2020. Having started as a new nurse during Covid, she endured many hardships but was successful in adapting and learning new skills. Janill started out in a casual position and then transitioned to a temporary full time position for about 2 years in the medicine program. Janill is currently working permanent full-time in Hematology Oncology. Not only has she contributed back to NorQuest as a member of the Alumni Committee but also accommodates Practical Nursing students every year and sometimes twice a year. Janill's goal is to continue to strive in her passion of helping people and giving back to the community.

Alison Reaves manages the Work-Integrated Learning and Career Education Centre (WILCEC) at NorQuest College. The WILCEC supports students with skill development, Work-Integrated Learning, and career development and support employer-partners across Canada to access up-and-coming talent and connect to students. Alison previously worked as the Associate Director in the Business Career Services office at Appalachian State University in North Carolina where she taught classes, managed the college’s internship process, and coached students and staff. Luke is most passionate about being a builder and innovator. Luke wandered through the traditional education path and became a graduate of the University of Alberta Executive MBA. His real passion, however, was building companies, so he's tried his hand in 3 areas: Telehealth, Robotics and AI/ML. In 2019 Luke went through the NEXT36/NextAI incubator in Toronto, and he can't say enough good things about that program. Right now, Luke splits his time between being the Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Alberta/NorQuest and the Cofounder of EPIC, an Experiential Market that combines foodhalls, restaurants and culinary education.
