Mariah Delmindo-Moore is an Independently Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Gambling Treatment and Clinical Supervision Endorsement from the state of OHIO. Mariah’s educational accomplishments include both Bachelor’s and Master’s in the field of Psychology, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Teaching Psychology, and has completed her Doctoral coursework for her PhD in Psychology at Walden University. Mariah is also a SME for the IC & RC’s Addiction licensure exam redesign. Mariah is the co-founder of the NATIVE ALLIANCE WELLNESS CENTER, providing culturally appropriate counselor and case management services to Native Americans in the Ohio area. Mariah has over 30 years of experience in the field of human services and believes there are multiple holistic approaches to treating substance use disorders, and that every therapeutic intervention should be explored.

Rachael (Rah-kel) DuBose

Rachael E. DuBose was born and raised in the Evanston neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio by her paternal grandparents. She received her B.A. from THE Ohio State University, M.S.Ed. from the University of Dayton, and has worked in mental health since 2010. Rachael is the owner of her own private practice, was featured in the 9th Edition of Who’s Who In Black™️ Cincinnati, and is involved with various community organizations including Black Women Cultivating Change, Guiding Light Mentoring, Black Mental Wellness, and I.H.U. I Hear U!’s monthly wellness radio show. Rachael enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Mike.

Ange-Marie Hancock

Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity

Ange-Marie Hancock is Executive Director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at The Ohio State University, where she also serves as ENGIE-Axium Endowed Professor of Political Science. Dr. Hancock joined Kirwan in January 2023 after 15 years at the University of Southern California and previous positions at Yale University, Penn State, and the University of San Francisco. A globally recognized scholar of intersectionality theory, she has written numerous articles and three books on the intersections of categories of difference like race, gender, class, sexuality and citizenship and their impact on policy: the award-winning The Politics of Disgust and the Public Identity of the “Welfare Queen,” (2004), Solidarity Politics for Millennials: A Guide to Ending the Oppression Olympics (2011) and Intersectionality: An Intellectual History (2016). She is hard at work on her fourth book, The Scope and Vision of African American Political Thought, a book that covers more than 250 years of African American political thought.

Monique Khumalo

Monique Khumalo holds a doctorate degree in Child Clinical Psychology from The Ohio State University. She is the owner of Youth Trauma & Justice Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to assisting child serving agencies in achieving trauma responsive culture change and overall system reform. She is a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) and has served on NCTSN’s Steering Committee, Affiliate Advisory Board, Community Violence, Complex Trauma and Justice Consortium Committees. She co-authored a training curriculum with NCTSN entitled “Think Trauma: a training for staff in Juvenile Justice and Residential Settings (2012) updated in 2020 to Think trauma: A training for working with justice involved youth.

She is the Project Director for the Central East Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) housed at The Danya Institute in Silver Spring, Maryland. She provides training and technical assistance to entities within HHS Region 3 (DE, PA, MD, VA, WV, and DC). The goal of the PTTC is to develop and strengthen the prevention of behavioral health and primary care workforce via the promotion and broad dissemination of evidence-based and promising practices.

Kamilah Twymon

Kamilah Twymon, LPCC-S, MBA, joined the Buckeye Ranch Family in December 2020 and is currently the Vice President of Community Based and Education Services. Raised in Central Ohio, she is a passionate advocate for marginalized populations and childhood mental health. Kamilah has been committed both personally and professionally to reducing risks inherent to social determinants of health. Her clinical areas of expertise include the intersection of mental health and education and working with . Kamilah completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio Dominican University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Additionally, Kamilah earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus in Community Counseling from the University of Dayton and a master’s in business administration from Otterbein University. She began working with children and families in 2007 at Nationwide Children's Hospital and held various roles, including providing direct care, supervisory, and management positions. Kamilah has significant experience in collaborating with school districts and community organizations to decrease the gap in access to care for youth and families, as well as implementing evidence-based practices for youth with intense needs. Additionally, Kamilah’s clinical experience and knowledge of business practices through obtaining an MBA have supported effective program development and implementation. She continues to look for opportunities to disrupt typical patterns for problem-solving in the mental health field and apply innovative strategies for solutions and practice.

Preshuslee, fondly referred to as Preshus is a Columbus, Ohio native and Licensed Social Worker. She has a passion for nature and creating spaces for collective healing and transformative conversation. Preshus has been facilitating Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) for two and a half years with youth and adults of all ages. She is EAGALA certified and pursuing her HERD certification. She aspires to connect her love for EAP, Mental Health and Equity work by creating spaces centered on intersectionality, collective healing and nature.
