Latino Media Summit

Three days of meaningful conversations about and around Latinx journalism. Virtual, free and fully bilingual.

The Latino Media Summit (LMS) is an annual gathering of the best in Latinx journalism, hosted by the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in New York. This year, over the course of three days, we will create a unique space to celebrate the extraordinary creativity, ingenuity, and innovation of Latinx journalists, media creators, and artists. For the first time, the LMS will be fully virtual and free. As always, it will be entirely bilingual in Spanish and English.

We will showcase some of the most meaningful and innovative journalism produced during one of the most challenging periods of our lifetimes, and will bring together visionary thinkers and artists to move beyond its aftermath and collectively imagine the future. The LMS will be hosted by the online events platform Hopin. It is very simple: just create an account on Hopin (free of charge) and log into the event each day. You will be directed to Hopin when you register for the summit.

Every session will be offered with simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish. On Hopin, you will be asked to select your preferred language and will be able to listen to all conversations in the language of your choice.

Welcome to our expanding community.
