Hello! My name is Dr. Melissa Busbin. I am a CTAE teacher with over a decade of experience in education. I serve as a co-advisor for FBLA and our school store, Diablo’s. My teaching philosophy centers on finding unique and innovative ways to engage students in computer science and information technology. I have a passion for helping students develop the skills they need for success in a technology-driven world, as well as supporting teachers in implementing computer science education. My research focused on computer science implementation and professional development, and my goals for the 2024-2025 school year include creating resources for the Introduction to Software Technology course. I hope to enter a leadership role in the future. Beyond the classroom, I am a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband teaches middle school Georgia History, and we have four amazing children and two grandchildren.
