Robert Simister
Consultant in Neurology and Stroke Medicine at UCLH
Dr Robert Simister is Consultant in Neurology and Stroke Medicine at UCLH. He trained at Charing Cross Medical School and completed his specialist neurology training at the Royal Free Hospital in 2007, before taking up a one year Department of Health funded stroke fellowship at UCLH. Dr Robert Simister has been Clinical Lead for the development of My Stroke Companion, a personalised, educational programme to support stroke survivors and their carers as they navigate life after stroke.
He is dual accredited in neurology and stroke medicine and has been a consultant since 2008. He is currently clinical lead for the UCLH hyperacute stroke service.
