Dr David Lamb is the Co-founder of Applied Psychologies, an employee-owned Educational Psychology Service consisting of multi-agency professionals who provide dedicated support to educational settings across the United Kingdom. After stepping down as Principal Educational Psychologist in 2025, David became Managing Director at WOWW Psychology with the purpose of his work being to empower schools to implement Working On What Works (WOWW) interventions that develop strengths, build relationships and create thriving learning environments. David’s specialisms span Educational, Sports and Organisational Psychology, with a strong emphasis on motivational theories and solution-focused approaches – his favourite phrase is “success leaves clues” which is at the heart of Working On What Works! Beyond his professional career, David has represented Great Britain in the sport of Judo
