Karthik Ranganathan

Co-founder and CTO, Yugabyte

Karthik Ranganathan is a Co-Founder & the CTO at Yugabyte, the company behind the open source YugabyteDB project that is bringing together NoSQL and SQL in a single globally distributed database. Karthik was one of the original database engineers at Facebook responsible for building distributed databases such as Cassandra and HBase. He is an Apache HBase committer, and also an early contributor to Cassandra, before it was open-sourced by Facebook.

Felix Christian Jonathan

Felix C. Jonathan is the Technical Architect of Tokopedia, one of the biggest e-commerce companies in Indonesia. Felix supports Tokopedia in designing, maintaining and giving technical solutions for Seller Analytics and Price Recommendation engine, enabling sellers to make a data-driven decision based on seller performance and giving suggestions if the product is competitive enough with other sellers. Besides that, he plays a big role in Yugabyte implementation at Tokopedia. Prior to his current role at Tokopedia, he was involved in other Tokopedia's critical services, such as Official Store, Category and Flash Sale.

Teppei Yagihashi

Founder and CEO, Avgidea

Teppei joined Amazon Web Services and worked as a solution architect primarily focusing on "Data" related services such as Amazon Redshift, and also helped enterprise customers to deliver implementation of various AWS services. After that, he joined Google Cloud and worked as a solution architect and built various solutions using Google Cloud Platform services, such as Cloud IoT Core, Firebase, Cloud Spanner, etc. He co-founded D-Ocean and took CTO role. He designed the entire architecture and implemented D-Ocean platform. As his current role, he is developing Avgidea Data Platform which focuses on Data and AI.
