I‘m a PhD researcher at the Department of the Management in the Built Environment (MBE) at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, TU Delft. My research investigates the digitalisation of energy renovation processes in the EU, with the core placed on understanding how the Digital Building Logbook (DBL) can process building data into actionable information for relevant stakeholders across the renovation market value chain. By exploring the drivers and challenges in implementing the DBL at various scales, my project aims to contribute to accelerating the decarbonisation of the European existing building stock, both digitally and sustainably. Besides my PhD, I'm also working on the Horizon Europe project 'Demo-BLog' as an academic researcher. The project sees to develop and demonstrate a decision support tool that enables local initiatives to identify optimal sustainability transition pathways driven by clustered DBL data, supported by a demonstration on how DBL data can serve to monitor and progress evaluation of climate and energy transition actions implemented by local governments.

Henk Visscher is Professor Housing Quality and Process Innovation at the Management in the Built Environment department of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of TU Delft. He is director of the TUDelft Urban Energy Institute. The subject of his research and education is the physical quality of new and existing housing and policies and processes to improve and control this quality. It's about energy performances, sustainability, safety, health, accessibility and functionality of houses. Karol Chojnowski is an experienced digital product manager and co-founder with a robust background in product management and user experience. Currently serving as a Digital Product Manager at Energy Saving Trust since September 2022, Karol has also co-founded and managed product strategies at both Przesyłarka.pl (Efero Transport Ltd) since November 2012 and Emito.net since August 2004. Karol's educational background includes a degree from Edinburgh Napier University and an HND in Electronics from Adam Smith College, Fife.
