Dr. Eva Allen
Dedicated educator, author, and leader in PK-12 education
Dr. Eva Allen is a dedicated educator, author, and leader with over two decades of experience in PK-12 education.
Currently, Dr. Allen supports statewide initiatives designed to enhance educational outcomes for students with disabilities as an educational consultant with Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Special Education Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN). Prior to this role, she served over 20 years in the Pittsburgh Public School District as a teacher, administrator, and Learning Environment Specialist.
Dr. Allen is deeply committed to fostering inclusive learning environments where both students and educators can thrive. Her research led to the development of Cultural Care, a theory of practice that blends Invitational Education, collective efficacy, and culturally responsive strategies to support social-emotional growth and meaningful learning experiences.
