Carmine is a civil engineer responsible for European Research Actions at STRESS Scarl, Member of the Board of Directors at the Metabuilding Association, Member of the Steering Committee at the European Construction and sustainable built environment Technology Platform | ECTP, and a Built4People PPP Board Member.

Luigi also coordinates activities within DIHCUBE, the European Digital Innovation Hub, which focuses on the digital transformation of the construction sector. He has held top executive positions, including Director General of Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici. He is also involved in innovation platforms as a Steering Committee Member of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and as Member of the Board of Directors at the Metabuilding Association.

Claudia has 20 years of experience in the management of innovation ecosystems, research projects, and innovation support to SMEs. Since 2014, she works for NOBATEK/INEF4 where during several years she was responsible for the administrative management and the coordination of partners of five European projects (E2VENT, BUILT2SPEC, HIT2GAP, INNOQUA, Nature4Cities). From 2020 to 2023, she was working as Project Manager of the H2020 project METABUILDING and, in 2021, she has assumed the role of Innovation Ecosystem Manager for the H2020 project METABUILDING LABS. Since 2022, she is the Head of European Affairs at NOBATEK/INEF4, where she is engaged in the set-up of new European projects and representing NOBATEK/INEF4 in the Steering Committee of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and the Partnership Board of Built4People (B4P). Furthermore, she is coordinating the Horizon project STAR*track, that aims at expanding the network of Built4People Innovation Clusters (B4PICs) and strengthening the innovation support to B4PICs and their members.

An architect and urban planner, Germain is a champion of innovation in the construction industry. After serving as Deputy Director and head of EU R&D at Nobatek, France’s institute for the energy and environmental transition in the building sector, he founded the Metabuilding Association in Brussels. As Managing Director, he now leads the non-profit ecosystem, that includes an Open Innovation Test Bed, dedicated to advancing innovation, product development, and sustainability across the European built environment industry.
