Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Indiana Fever

Amber Cox, a 20+ year sports industry veteran, is Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Indiana Fever, overseeing day-to-day business operations and supporting roster construction and basketball operations. She joined after two and a half successful seasons as Chief Operating Officer of the Dallas Wings, where she led revenue-generating activities including ticket sales, marketing, communications/broadcasting, and community efforts. Before that, she led business operations for the Kansas City Current in their inaugural NWSL season. From 2016–2021, she was VP of Sports for the Connecticut Sun, helping grow revenue and player experience; the Sun reached the WNBA Finals in 2019 during her tenure. She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for MLS’ Houston Dynamo and NWSL’s Dash, and as Associate Commissioner for Women’s Basketball at the BIG EAST Conference. Cox began her professional sports career with the Phoenix Mercury, rising to President & Chief Operating Officer. During her time with the Mercury, Cox was a part of two WNBA Championships (2007, 2009) and drafted Brittney Griner in 2013. Cox, a Missouri native, holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Mo.

Keia Clarke

Christopher Williams

President, Capacity Interactive

Christopher Williams has been marketing the arts for more than 30 years. He was last in-house at New York City Center where he served as Director of Marketing. In 2013, he teamed up with founder Erik Gensler to establish CI, which has become one of North America’s premier consultancies serving the arts. In 2025, he assumed the role of President. He works closely with leading arts and cultural organizations to achieve digital transformation and shape the future of arts and culture.

Aly Gomez

Senior Consultant, Digital Marketing

Aly has worn many hats at Capacity Interactive—first as a client, and now as a consultant, content specialist, Capacity Academy teacher, team lead, and two-time Boot Camp speaker (2017, 2023). Prior to joining CI, she served as the Associate Director of Marketing at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. When she’s not thinking about marketing, she’s thinking about plot twists—usually with a romance novel in one hand and a Pink Drink in the other.

Sana Colter

Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing

Sana is a digital analyst and experience-driven content specialist who is fueled by being part of the advancement of our artistic landscape. She joined Capacity Interactive after 6+ years working in arts administration at the New York State Council on the Arts and 10+ years and counting as a musical performer. She received a BM in Music Performance and Music Technology from Rutgers University.

Jen Benoit-Bryan

Executive Director

Jen Benoit-Bryan, Ph.D., is the Executive Director of DataArts and Marriott Family Endowed Professor of Arts Management at Southern Methodist University. Her research focuses on the conditions that support vibrant arts ecosystems, the sustainability and well-being of the cultural workforce, and the community impacts of equitable access to the arts. She’s collaborated on many significant arts research initiatives including the World Cities Culture Forum, Culture Track, the Museums Moving Forward national studies of art museum employees, and an evaluation of the national and regional America’s Cultural Treasures grant programs. A recognized leader in arts research methodologies, Dr. Benoit-Bryan frequently contributes her expertise as an advisor and grant reviewer for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), and many arts service organizations. Prior to joining DataArts, Jen was the President of Slover Linett Audience Research where she consulted directly with arts and culture organizations on strategies to broaden and deepen engagement with audiences and communities.

Jen Taylor

Director, AI Strategy & Integration

Jen is a customer-focused growth marketer passionate about AI’s impact on marketing and the arts. With 15+ years of experience, she has built and engaged audiences across off-Broadway, Broadway, and streaming. Before CI, she led digital audience growth for ad-supported and subscription-based streaming at A+E Networks (A&E, HISTORY, Lifetime). Now, she is focused on how AI is reshaping marketing and audience engagement, helping arts organizations navigate emerging opportunities. Outside of work, you’ll find her at the theater, cooking, or planning a trip.

Sam Bednarchik

Sr. Client Partner, Reddit

Sam Bednarchik is a Sr. Client Partner at Reddit where he consults on marketing, measurement, and development strategies for global tech brands. Prior to Reddit, he’s worked at Pinterest, Google, and Capacity Interactive helping brands of all sizes to refine their digital marketing approach. Outside of work, Sam is typically exploring arts and literary events around the city or making the most of an NYC apartment kitchen by trying to be a better cook.

Javier Dubon

Interim Executive Director, Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Javier (Javi) Dubon is a performing arts leader and marketer who serves as Interim Executive Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), one of North America’s leading regional theatres. He also serves as OSF’s Director of Marketing & Sales, where he has guided the Festival’s brand, ticket sales, and communications through a period of transformation. Since joining OSF in 2022, he has played a key role in rebuilding the organization following its pandemic closure and reestablishing vital connections with audiences. A classically trained saxophonist, Javi began his career in music before moving into theatre and arts administration, where he discovered his passion for connecting artists and audiences through meaningful live experiences. His work spans institutions such as Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Texas Performing Arts. He holds a Bachelor of Music from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership from DePaul University. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives to increase attendance and revenue, amplify institutional storytelling, and leverage audience data to inform organizational strategy and decision making. Javi’s core purpose as an arts leader is to challenge traditional notions of engagement and prioritize the final collaborator in the art-making process: the audience.

Dianna Mesion‑Jackson

Dianna Mesion‑Jackson is the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at Kaufman Music Center, where she leads the institutional marketing and communications strategy for a premier arts organization—comprising the nation’s only K–12 public school with music education at the core of its curriculum, a renowned community arts school, and a world-class concert hall. Previously, Dianna served as Director of Marketing at BY Experience, spearheading campaigns for live cinematic event broadcasts such as the Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema series. She also held the role of Senior Global Media Producer at Pathé Live, where she shaped the global content strategy for live cinema broadcasts, producing original features, interviews, and behind-the-scenes segments that enriched the audience experience. Her professional background stems from a passion for working on projects and with organizations that connect people through unforgettable experiences. With over 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s most prestigious cultural institutions—including the Bolshoi Ballet, The Australian Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, National Theatre, The Metropolitan Opera, Performa and The Armory Show—she brings a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to excellence to every project.

Nick Sharp

Chief Digital Officer, National Gallery of Art

Nick Sharp is Chief Digital Officer at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., one of the world’s most visited museums. He leads a team of more than 50 across product design, digital content, social media, video and audio production, installations, and artwork imaging. Previously Director of Digital, Data and Insight at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Nick drove major growth in digital audiences and revenue—a record he has continued in Washington, where the Gallery’s digital audience has grown more than fivefold under his leadership. He has held senior roles with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and GOV.UK, and began his career at IBM before running national voter engagement campaigns.

Dan Titmuss

Dan is an SEO and AI nerd who has talked about all kinds of interesting stuff on the Capacity Interactive podcast. He’s also an arts marketing nerd with a background in comedy and theatre, and he loves helping connect audiences with the art that moves them. Since 2016, Dan has helped arts organizations show up where it matters, working across SEO strategy, SEM, content, and digital best practices. He loves digging into the weeds of Title Tags and Sitemaps, and he’s always down to talk about how to make a site more findable and more delightful. Lately, he has been exploring how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of arts marketing — not as a replacement for creativity, but as a tool to spark it. He recently built mobydickbible.com, an AI-powered site that lets users explore Moby-Dick through curiosity-driven prompts (ideal for Melville superfans and arts-adjacent nerds alike). British-born and NYC-based, Dan writes one-man shows for tiny basement theatres when he’s not talking about Google or experimenting with new tech. Monica is an arts executive who thrives at the intersection of big ideas and practical solutions. Her mission is simple: help cultural organizations reach their full potential as forces for creativity and connection. Having led a $110M+ artistic operation at the Kennedy Center with 2,000+ annual events, Monica has spent her career proving that cultural institutions can be both creatively ambitious and operationally excellent. What really drives her is building bridges—between artists and audiences, vision and execution, tradition and innovation—creating spaces where transformative experiences can happen.

Deborah F. Rutter

Vice Provost for the Arts, Duke University

Deborah F. Rutter is an internationally respected arts executive with over nearly five decades of leadership at premier cultural institutions; she is currently serving as Vice Provost for the Arts at Duke University. From 2014 to 2025, she served as the first female president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts—the nation’s preeminent cultural center—where she led a period of transformative growth while centering artists in all aspects of the institution’s work. A fierce advocate of artistic voices, Rutter believes artists hold a mirror to society, and her role is to uplift their work. She has collaborated with and established strong artistic collaborations with renowned artists throughout her career, including Renée Fleming, Jason Moran, Q-Tip, Mason Bates, Gianandrea Noseda, Carlos Simon, Riccardo Muti, and Yo-Yo Ma. During her tenure at the Kennedy Center, Deborah expanded the institution’s artistic and educational programming across genres and audiences including the introduction of Social Impact programming in 2019. She also developed an innovative exploration of arts and well-being in collaboration with National Institutes of Health and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as establishing the Hip Hop Culture Council to create new pathways and deepen public knowledge of Hip Hop, while strengthening the burgeoning Hip Hop Culture. Notably, Deborah led the planning, design, construction and celebrated 16-day opening festival of the Center’s first physical expansion—The REACH—encompassing 72,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and 130,000 sq. ft. outdoor green space to accommodate an increased number of festivals, exhibitions and community impact initiatives. Deborah led the REACH capital campaign which surpassed its $250 million goal, raised entirely through private contributions. During her tenure, Deborah was also responsible for increasing the Kennedy Center’s endowment by sixty-two percent to $162 million. Beginning her career at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Deborah went on to lead such esteemed cultural institutions as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (2003–2014), where she secured Riccardo Muti as music director and cemented the CSO’s reputation as a top-tier orchestra. As executive director of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra (1992–2003), she oversaw the construction of Benaroya Hall which accommodates two performing halls in a complex that now defines the landscape of downtown Seattle, occupying an entire city block in Seattle’s downtown core. Deborah serves on the boards of Vital Voices and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including honorary doctorates at Duke University, American University, Roosevelt University, and Cornish College, among others.

Maddy Buxton

Madeline (Maddy) Buxton is YouTube's Culture & Trends Manager for the US and Canada. In her role, she tracks popular videos and analyzes their impact on culture at large. She has studied everything from the farming community on YouTube to the growth of independent animation. Previously, she was a journalist at Hearst, Condé Nast, and Refinery29, reporting on topics including health and internet culture.

Michael J. Bobbitt

Executive Director, Mass Cultural Council

Michael J. Bobbitt is a distinguished theater artist. As the Executive Director of Mass Cultural Council, he is the highest-ranking public official in Massachusetts state government focused on arts and culture. Since 2021, he has led the Agency through several initiatives, including the development of its first Racial Equity Plan, d/Deaf & Disability Equity and Access Plan, and Native American & Indigenous Peoples Equity Plan; the launch of the nation’s first statewide Social Prescribing Initiative; the securing and distribution of $60.1 million in pandemic relief funding; and the design and implementation of a strategic plan for fiscal years 2024-2026. He has been appointed by Governor Maura Healey to serve on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Black Empowerment, the Statewide K-12 Graduation Council, the Mass STEM Advisory Council, and the Massachusetts Cultural Policy Development Advisory Council. Michael is a proud alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts, honoris causa from Dean College and recently completed his MBA with The Global Leaders Institute. He previously served as Artistic Director of the New Repertory Theatre in Watertown, MA; immediately prior to this he held the same position at the Adventure Theatre-MTC in Maryland for 12 years. While in Maryland Michael led the organization to be a respected regional theatre training company, and a nationally influential professional Theatre for Young Audiences. Michael’s training includes Executive Education from Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, The National Arts Strategies Chief Executive Program, and Cornell University’s Diversity and Inclusion Certification Program. He has also completed YW Boston’s signature leadership program, LeadBoston, The Partnership, Inc.’s Next Generation Executives program, and the Civic Action Project’s CAP Collaborative. He is an appointed member of the Board of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and served on the New England Foundation for the Arts Board of Directors from 2021 to 2023. He has taught at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Howard University, George Washington University, and Catholic University. Michael is the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious Kennedy Center Gold Medallion in recognition of his commitment to the arts and educational theatre. He was named one of the Boston Business Journal’s Power 50 Movement Makers and one of Boston’s Most Influential Men of Color by Get Konnected!. He is invested into the College of Fellows of the American Theatre – one of the highest honors bestowed on American theater professionals and recognized by Speak Out for his efforts to build a more inclusive cultural sector. Additionally, he is the recipient of MassOpera’s Action Bearing Award and OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center’s Sojourner Truth Award, and he was honored by the Greater Roxbury Arts & Cultural Center at its Juneteenth Jubilee in June 2024. He is a popular speaker and presenter at national and international conferences and convenings most recently delivering the keynote address at the Black Theater Network Conference in Los Angeles. Michael has directed/choreographed at Arena Stage, Ford’s Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Olney Theatre Center, Studio Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Center Stage, Roundhouse Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and the Washington National Opera. His national and international credits include the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Mel Tillis 2001, La Jolla Playhouse, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Jefferson Performing Arts Center, and the Olympics. As a writer his work was chosen for the NYC International Fringe Festival and the New York Musical Theatre Festival. He has plays published by Musical Theatre International, Concord Theatricals, and Plays for Young Audiences. Michael has received the Excel Leadership Award (Center for Nonprofit Advancement), the Emerging Leader Award (County Executive’s Excellence in the Arts and Humanities), and Person of the Year Award (Maryland Theatre Guide).

Tori White

Co-Founder, Skylight Social

Tori White is the CEO and co-founder of Skylight Social, a Mark Cuban-backed short-form video platform built on the decentralized AT Protocol. A former travel influencer turned self-taught developer, Tori created Skylight in response to creators' growing concerns about platform dependency and algorithmic control. Since launching in April 2025, Skylight has grown to 340,000+ users. Before founding Skylight, Tori worked as a travel influencer and audio engineer, specializing in podcasts, audiobooks, and ads optimized for social media. This unique combination of creator experience and technical expertise gave her an insider's view of both the creative and production sides of digital content—and the frustrations creators face when platforms control their reach, communities, and livelihoods. Tori is passionate about empowering women, POC, and LGBTQIA+ founders in tech.
