Dr. Michele Scott is passionate about healthy lifestyles. She embraces continual improvement (KAIZEN), relevance, purpose (IKIGAI) and longevity. Dr. Scott has 30+ years professional career experience in Wall Street and Corporate Banking Operations, primarily at Deutsche Bank. She is certified in Project Management and Six Sigma. Her responsibilities include making organizations more efficient, eliminating waste in the operations, making our lives and organizations more sustainable. Dr. Scott spent 7 years working in China as a professor for Rutgers University Business School and School of Public Administration. During her last 4 years in China, Dr. Scott also served as the Executive Vice Dean responsible for academic affairs for students and faculty. She taught and graduated 900+ undergraduate Chinese students with 200+ completing their degrees at Rutgers University – Newark. Dr. Scott earned her Doctor of Education at The George Washington University in 2011 through the Executive Leadership Doctoral Program; she also earned an MS in Management from NJIT and a BS degree in Business Administration from Delaware State University; and Dr. Scott earned a Certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University during her banking career. Dr. Scott recently completed the University of Pennsylvania Social Strategy Graduate Certificate Program. She also earned a Certificate from the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability in Food and Sustainability, and she recently completed a course in Building a Life of Wellness at Harvard Medical School. She is currently enrolled in 3 Health, Nutrition, Wellness, Lifestyle and Coaching courses at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Scott is the founder and owner of WeEmpower Partnerships, LLC. She is currently an adjunct professor at multiple universities in New Jersey and nationwide. Her teaching focus is Global Business and Cultures, Organizational Behavior, Holistic Sustainability and Capstones. Additionally, she is a consultant at the Urban League of Essex County responsible for the Healthy Lifestyle Initiatives. She is a passionate advocate for Longevity Initiatives. Dr Scott serves on the Urban Agriculture Cooperative Non-profit Board, and she serves on multiple Food and Health Coalitions.
